i gots a problem

I'm pretty sure that i am in fact OCD, i have this slight issue with order; it must be kept. At home and at work i am what my mother affectionately calls a neurotic head case. The best case of this would be with the way in which my DVDs must be kept, in alphabetical order, by movie and then by tv series, this is not padantic it simply common sense, du'h. Now that isn't too bad so in the interest of full disclosure i will reiterate what occured yesterday afternoon, i was work making space on the shelves for the seven new pairs of shoes that needed to be put out not counting the other delivery we received yesterday; woo hoo, or you know not. Anyway that was all well and good, i got everything into my beautiful order and the shoes were in styles and straight and all the peep toes togethers, flats together, round toes together, points together- you get the picture. But then we realised that our five section was far too small so we decided to do a little renovation, which was a brilliant idea, except my beautiful ordered six-seven shelves were ruined, it has been bugging me ALL NIGHT! I really want to go fix it because like i said I'M NEUROTIC, it is incredibly difficult knowing that my beautiful shelves are all messy and not in order and especially since with the amount of stock that needs to be dealt with i probably wont get to clean them. Now as you read this and inform me i need a life, i would like to point out that i have one, i just happen to make Monica from friends seem normal, in fact i don' find her neurotic, i like to be clean, it's just the way i am.

My brother takes a slightly different tact, he prefers to live in a room that you wouldn't be surprised to find a family of rats or alley cats living there. It has a slight odour owing to the fact he never washes his sheets or socks, his floor is covered in clothes, magazines, towels, tissues, cds and the like. It is a pig sty and yet he is happy. I am happy in my clean room where every book, video, pen and piece of jewelery has its own place, i regularly clean my closet to keep the clothes in an order, shoes are lined up in heel height and i vacuum twice a week, clean the mirrors and windows every Sunday, maybe i am a little crazy but hey it's not like i'm hurting anyone! Until they mess with my order, then i have been known to a be a little slap happy. LEAVE MY ORDER ALONE! Oh well, i will be in the store this afternoon and very sneakily i will fix up my shelves to be beautiful for saturday in which i will clean them several times to the point that they are perfect, until customers come alone and RUIN IT! So please the next time you are in a shoe store if you try on a shoe don't leave it on the floor put it back where you found it, it's really not that hard, in fact it is just good manners. Thanks for letting me rant my issues away now i'm going to go vacuum.
