My Playlist

It has come to my attention that no really good music has come out in the last few years. Sure there are the odd good band out there but in twenty years I don't think I'm going to be beaming with pride when the best of the 90s and 00s came out full of songs by The Spice Girls and Pussycat Dolls. My generation will forever by known by the Macarena. It's a little sad. I actually don't listen to all that much modern music; my playlists are heavy with the seventies and eighties and lots of soundtracks. On high rotation are;

I just can't identify with what i barely recognise as music *if it is made using just a computer and goes doof doof doof it aint music. 

Nor is it music if a DJ has taken a formerly kickass song; Brick in the Wall, Heaven, Listen To Your Heart and merely added a techno beat. That is in no way music, it is down right sacrilegious. Here's an idea; if you want to make music LEARN A FREAKIN INSTRUMENT!
