Bed Bound Boredom

You know what really sucks? Throwing your back out- which you can apparently do even when you are 20 year old female of 5'6'' and an overweight middle aged man with a bad combover, wait that was redundant there is no such thing as a good one. I've spent the last two days either asleep or in some kind of drug induced La La land when I'm not having the back rearranged by my chiro. The snap, crackle and pop of back is really starting to freak me out! I hate that i am so co-ordinationally challenged that i can throw my back out simply by bending over! The worst part of all of this is that it happened while i was at work. I could be pissed about the money i would lose but no i'm pissed because it happened while i was in the middle of cleaning my shelves and OCD as i am i can't finish it. The shoes will not be in MY order, my universe is in total chaos!

Thankfully being in bed does have its advantages, namely the fact that i have spent an entire day watching Season 3 of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is perfectly acceptable as opposed to lazy. It has also given me time; at least when not completely wacko, to work on my Zennie fic 'Stuck' as well as my own story 'MissTery' for which my muse is proverbially AWOL. Alas during these days in bed with the AC blasting thanks to Melbourne's endless days of 40+ weather have not been in vain..see below

What they did to this show in the 8th season is the equivalent to an acid trip. The introduction of Sam and the total decimation of the J/H r'ship was idiotic to the extreme. The writers pretty much disregarded everything that the show was loved for and wrote crap that makes reality tv look inspired. Danny Masterson himself has said he thought that Jackie and Hyde should end up together and that they didn't remains one of my all time top 5 TV hang ups.

Candy, Dreamer or StarGazer Fics- MichaelMaria, MaxLiz and IsabelAlex from Roswell

I hate that this show was cancelled because it was actually INTERESTING! Like most ppl i severely hated that TessMax romance but i didn't hate Tess. Her character was underdeveloped and rushed. Although after the killing off of Alex i kind of did hate her...I found the r'ships in this really interesting, MaxLiz are the original EdwardBella. And while most ppl focus on them i absolutely adored the r'ship that was Michael and Maria, the two together was gold and watching their arguments and little spats classic, not to mention all mentions of THE HAIR! I hated that they had to leave Roswell and that Isabel got married so quickly but hey at least at the end they were all together, even with a buddha obsessed jock mechanic who turned out to be quite an awesome character. 

Rebel Fics- BrendaDylan from Bev Hills 90210.

Here is my problem. The entire Kelly/Dylan relationship was about SEX and no r'ship can last on sex alone. The only reason she ended up with Dylan was because Jason Priestly didn't come back for the 10th season and it would have been too sudden. Not having Brenda at the wedding but having Valerie (who i adore) was ridiculous. Brenda and Dylan had a much more involved r'ship as did Kelly and Brandon, he should be Sammy's dad. Thank God the 90210 ppl didn't screw everything up more by having Kelly and Dylan actually together off screen. Also i find it hilarious that Brenda slept with Ryan, blondie can't do a thing about it without being a big ole hypocrite.

WhedonVerse Fics- I am a MASSIVE BuffyAngel shipper, i love the character of Spike, he is funny and has a purpose; but he is not meant for Buffy and i think everyone knows that. Look at who he is in the series and in the comics books. Angel is meant for Buffy; they share a soul. She wasn't in love Spike and he knew that which makes him being all 'where's buffy, where's buffy' in Just Rewards, besides in the finale the second she saw Angel it was all tongue and she trusted him to be her 2nd front, she didn't want him to die. They both knew that they couldn't give into themselves because it would mean the big A word for everyone else. As for who Spike should be with, he's for Dru clear as day. The rest are as follows;

Pretty much standard issue here; 

MD= i like ConnieGuy, TammyFulton and JulieAdam

TBC= Like most i tend to favor the ClareBender r'ship if only for the gorgeousness that is Bender.

OTH= Leyton, Naley, Brace, Skilvin and a healthy dose of Mouth and Rachel friendly goodness.

After reading/watching/writing all of these shows i came to a quite freaky conclusion. 

My ideal guy is a cross between Max(Roswell) Alec (Dark Angel) Edward (Twilight) Angel (B:tVS and A:ts) Bender (TBC) and Charlie (TMD)..

So if you happen to find an Alien.Human/Vampire/Genetically Engineered Killing Machine who specializes in being bad and plays Ice Hockey let me know??
